Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Constantijn Cantillon got the match started through his kick off. When KFC Begijnendijk's Kieth Simons in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vencimont's goalie prevented a goal. Willem De Jong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kieth Simons's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Constantijn Cantillon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes, Vencimont's Joppe Leers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gillis Huytterhoeven came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vencimont reached it. If Kieth Simons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Richard De Hond kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Constantijn Cantillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vencimont's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantijn Cantillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gillis Huytterhoeven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerome Rousseau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KFC Begijnendijk's Gillis Huytterhoeven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantijn Cantillon in the 33rd minute of play. When Vencimont's Constantijn Cantillon in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Begijnendijk's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Kieth Simons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Begijnendijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kieth Simons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Denis Eekhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaspar Verheije's late challenge caught a Vencimont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaspar Verheije helped the player get up and apologised. Jaspar Verheije kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kris Van der Voert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gillis Huytterhoeven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantijn Cantillon went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Vencimont's Willem De Jong got control of the ball when Richard De Hond tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerome Rousseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Richard De Hond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kieth Simons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willem De Jong having to interfere. Willem De Jong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kieth Simons in the 79th minute. Willem De Jong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kieth Simons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vencimont's zone, Kieth Simons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willem De Jong came out of the goal and Kieth Simons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Kieth Simons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Begijnendijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kieth Simons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kieth Simons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vencimont getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Yelle Gijselinckx hit a great ball. The supporters of KFC Begijnendijk booed when Vencimont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocky De Meur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vencimont fans cheered their team off the field, for while KFC Begijnendijk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
