Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kris Van der Voert got the match started through his kick off. Kris Van der Voert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Van De Putts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Wouter Blomme might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gillis Huytterhoeven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wouter Blomme ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard De Hond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rafael Van De Putts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Van De Putts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Van der Voert's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Didier Van Den Bosche struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gillis Huytterhoeven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Van Lent. 27 minutes into the match, KFC Begijnendijk's Abel Vercauteren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Van De Putts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kieth Simons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Kieth Simons ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Van De Putts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kris Van der Voert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Van De Putts having to interfere. If Kris Van der Voert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Kieth Simons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Begijnendijk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wouter Blomme made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Didier Van Den Bosche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Van Lent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience was convinced that Richard De Hond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Van De Putts was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Van Lent's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paul-Louis Massenhove was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Begijnendijk's players had a chance to rest. Kieth Simons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Van De Putts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Vercauteren in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Kieth Simons made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Van De Putts. Van Lent's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Abel Vercauteren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rafael Van De Putts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Van Lent's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Van der Voert came free, but Rafael Van De Putts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Richard De Hond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kris Van der Voert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Van De Putts having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Van Lent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francis Imbrechts to maneuver through the defense. KFC Begijnendijk's Paul-Louis Massenhove couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Van Lent. Kieth Simons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Van De Putts having to make a save.
