The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Van De Putts showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Jerome Rousseau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Van Lent's Rafael Van De Putts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Rousseau in the 16th minute of play. Cedrik Van Boeckost hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantijn Cantillon in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Van De Putts saved Van Lent from getting behind. Jerome Rousseau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wouter Blomme was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Vencimont's Joppe Leers got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to Van Lent getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Rudy Polspoel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn Cantillon in the 64th minute of play forced Van Lent's goalkeeper Rafael Van De Putts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Rousseau's late challenge caught a Van Lent's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
