Sammy Van de Gaer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thys Rousseau having to interfere. Lander Aerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jerome Baele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Sammy Van de Gaer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Hemiksem's Sammy Van de Gaer in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ingooigem's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Hemiksem's goal looked a bit too open when Robbe Vinx came free, but Jerome Baele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hemiksem's Jerome Baele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbe Vinx in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 played minutes Ingooigem got a freekick which was hit by Geert Teunens. Sammy Van de Gaer struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Lander Aerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ingooigem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ramon De Maijer might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thys Rousseau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon De Maijer ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ramon De Maijer came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Hemiksem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon De Maijer couldn't finish the play. Sammy Van de Gaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ingooigem were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robbe Vinx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jasper Symons hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Hemiksem's Ramon De Maijer in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thys Rousseau came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Hemiksem's Sammy Van de Gaer. But to his dismay, Sammy Van de Gaer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 74th minute of the match, Robbe Vinx tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jerome Baele saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ramon De Maijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thys Rousseau having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Ingooigem's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Van de Gaer came free, but Thys Rousseau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sammy Van de Gaer in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thys Rousseau saved Ingooigem from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Ingooigem's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Van de Gaer came free, but Thys Rousseau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Sammy Van de Gaer notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ingooigem's Thys Rousseau. Thys Rousseau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Robbe Vinx fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ingooigem's protests and gave Robbe Vinx a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ingooigem's Robbe Vinx got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
