When Robin De Vadder fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iendracht.be's protests and gave Robin De Vadder a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Iendracht.be got a freekick which was hit by Robin De Vadder. 16 minutes into the match, Ingooigem's goal looked a bit too open when Christoff Van Den Eynde came free, but Thys Rousseau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Hylen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbe Vinx in the 17th minute of the match. Ingooigem's Thys Rousseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin De Vadder in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Christoff Van Den Eynde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basiel Fossaert struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Thys Rousseau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iendracht.be. The audience was convinced that Lander Aerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Hylen was relentless in the 34th minute of the game.
