The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Scheerens in the 2nd minute of play forced Club Langdorp's goalkeeper Guilian Van Geele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxim Van Den Eijnde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Regis Decoster made a huge save. After having played for 6 minutes, Maxim Van Den Eijnde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Langdorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Van Den Eijnde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Langdorp's Ronald Duchateau got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik De Keijser kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Timmy Roggen's late challenge caught a Club Langdorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmy Roggen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AFC Sautour's Timmy Roggen got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Club Langdorp's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Scheerens came free, but Guilian Van Geele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Sautour's Nico Scheerens got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronald Duchateau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to AFC Sautour getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Timmy Roggen hit a great ball. If Ronald Duchateau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Nico Scheerens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Guilian Van Geele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Langdorp's Ronald Duchateau got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nico Scheerens made a kick off. Maxim Van Den Eijnde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Regis Decoster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik De Keijser in the 56th minute of play. Quillian Van Houdtvinck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilian Van Geele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The long shot by Gert-Jan Ketelers in the 61st minute really tested Guilian Van Geele's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Scheerens in the 62nd minute of play forced Club Langdorp's goalkeeper Guilian Van Geele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qwinten Kortens kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Qwinten Kortens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Sautour's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Langdorp the free kick. In the 69th minute, Qwinten Kortens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qwinten Kortens hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quillian Van Houdtvinck got free with Guilian Van Geele in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Langdorp fully deserved thier win.
