Jim De Wit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunter Baert having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Sint-Agatha-Berchem's goalkeeper Gunter Baert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim De Wit. In the 9th minute Peter-Jan vrolijx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Inglebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Niki Loozen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Berchem 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sint-Agatha-Berchem the free kick. Niki Loozen hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Toon Nys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Berchem 's Erik Inglebert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Sint-Agatha-Berchem getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Matt De Moor hit a great ball. Peter-Jan vrolijx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes, Sint-Agatha-Berchem's Filip De Jonghe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Inglebert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sint-Agatha-Berchem reached it. Sint-Agatha-Berchem's Gunter Baert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Sint-Agatha-Berchem from getting a goal against them. Gunter Baert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xander-Paul Sommers in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Toon Nys made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. KFC Berchem 's Erik Inglebert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 minutes of play, Sint-Agatha-Berchem's Peter-Jan vrolijx made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Inglebert was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip De Jonghe during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Sint-Agatha-Berchem got a freekick which was hit by Filip De Jonghe. The supporters of KFC Berchem booed when Sint-Agatha-Berchem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toon Nys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 55 minutes, Jim De Wit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Berchem and the Sint-Agatha-Berchem players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jim De Wit kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, KFC Berchem 's goal looked a bit too open when Toon Nys came free, but Erik Inglebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter-Jan vrolijxs short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Erik Inglebert to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th minute Xander-Paul Sommers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Baert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Sint-Agatha-Berchem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurenz Knockaert to maneuver through the defense. Xander-Paul Sommers struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gunter Baert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Berchem . Sint-Agatha-Berchem's Gunter Baert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander-Paul Sommers in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, KFC Berchem 's Erik Inglebert got control of the ball when Peter-Jan vrolijx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xander-Paul Sommers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Toon Nys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Inglebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim De Wit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Toon Nys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Dimitri Aelgoet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Inglebert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 96th minute, Xander-Paul Sommers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Sint-Agatha-Berchem players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
