Carlos de la Croix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Du Molin having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Carlos de la Croix rounded Martelange's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Joachim De Reijck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ralf Du Molin made a huge save. After having played for 19 minutes, Yanne Van Der Taelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martelange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yanne Van Der Taelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roel Coveliers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamiel Huijsmans having to interfere. Yanne Van Der Taelen got in the 23rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kamiel Huijsmans handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Kamiel Huijsmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanne Van Der Taelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Joachim De Reijck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RSC Meelberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim De Reijck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes RSC Meelberg got a freekick which was hit by Joannes Roekeloos. After recieving a nice pass, Martelange's Frederic Raemakers tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Roel Coveliers took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kamiel Huijsmans. Kamiel Huijsmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Carlos de la Croix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yanne Van Der Taelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Kamiel Huijsmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yanne Van Der Taelen to make the kick off. RSC Meelberg's Kamiel Huijsmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanne Van Der Taelen in the 58th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, RSC Meelberg's goal looked a bit too open when Yanne Van Der Taelen came free, but Kamiel Huijsmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos de la Croix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, RSC Meelberg's Joachim De Reijck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ralf Du Molin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The RSC Meelberg fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when RSC Meelberg's Joachim De Reijck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Richey Ramps kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 98 played minutes Yanne Van Der Taelen rounded RSC Meelberg's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. The Martelange players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented RSC Meelberg from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
