Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stein Van Beylen started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Aveschoot's zone, Joos De Vlaeminck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thys Verheyden came out of the goal and Joos De Vlaeminck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of KVSK Yvoir booed when Aveschoot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Konings didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dante Van Mellaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Etienne Waegemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remie Thielemans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romain Coekx. KVSK Yvoir's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dante Van Mellaert took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thys Verheyden. Thys Verheyden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. KVSK Yvoir's Romain Coekx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save KVSK Yvoir from getting a goal against them. When Stein Van Beylen came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Aveschoot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stein Van Beylen couldn't finish the play. Stein Van Beylen struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Romain Coekx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aveschoot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Stein Van Beylen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aveschoot's supporters rose to their feet, but Stein Van Beylen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romain Coekx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobus Ketelers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thys Verheyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joos De Vlaeminck in the 42nd minute of play. Romain Coekx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobus Ketelers in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joos De Vlaeminck to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Van Mellaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Thys Verheyden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KVSK Yvoir's Dante Van Mellaert got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thys Verheyden was a little too slow when Joos De Vlaeminck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-2. Romain Coekx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Konings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joos De Vlaeminck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Thys Verheyden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joos De Vlaeminck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thys Verheyden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Thys Verheyden made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dante Van Mellaert sent off a good shot on target. After 71 minutes, Jonathan Peters mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aveschoot and the KVSK Yvoir players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonathan Peters hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Aveschoot's Thys Verheyden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Aveschoot from getting a goal against them. Romain Coekx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stein Van Beylen, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Thys Verheyden was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joos De Vlaeminck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, KVSK Yvoir's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Peters came free, but Romain Coekx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joos De Vlaeminck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Thys Verheyden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stein Van Beylen's late challenge caught a KVSK Yvoir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stein Van Beylen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KVSK Yvoir booed when Aveschoot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stein Van Beylen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romain Coekx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stein Van Beylen in the 92nd minute of play. Stein Van Beylen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romain Coekx having to interfere. The Aveschoot supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KVSK Yvoir's performance. The match ended with a win for KVSK Yvoir.
