Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ludo Lefevere took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, AFC Vosselare's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolaas Lanen came free, but Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nils Maeijnaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes, Rudi De Mol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Vosselare and the Werken players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Werken booed when AFC Vosselare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudi De Mol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, AFC Vosselare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ief De Prins to maneuver through the defense. Kristof Olbrechts kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Nicolaas Lanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, AFC Vosselare's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolaas Lanen came free, but Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Werken's Nicolaas Lanen got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nicolaas Lanen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Nils Maeijnaerts scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Werken's Nicolaas Lanen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 35th minute, Nils Maeijnaerts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolaas Lanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waud De Backer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel-Jan Baeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolaas Lanen to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Nicolaas Lanen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Werken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 62 minutes into the match, AFC Vosselare's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Maeijnaerts came free, but Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5-0 became the score in the 66th minute when Nicolaas Lanen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nils Maeijnaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh having to interfere. Nicolaas Lanen struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Werken. Nils Maeijnaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Frank Jansens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the AFC Vosselare defense, Nicolaas Lanen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh. The AFC Vosselare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh should have stopped the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Nils Maeijnaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Werken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Maeijnaerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pieter-Jan Van den Bergh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolaas Lanen went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Werken had played much better football throughout.
