Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Douglas Sneijers kicked off to start the match. Joachim Gobbelijns made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Van Houdtvinck in the 3rd minute. Douglas Sneijers struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Jean Lenaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vroegeinde. The audience was convinced that Douglas Sneijers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Lenaerts was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Carlos Van Bouschot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 22 played minutes, Vroegeinde's Leo Uytterhaegen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean Lenaerts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vroegeinde reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Richmond Mertens could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Joachim Gobbelijns however easily saved by the left post. In the 25th minute, Douglas Sneijers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vroegeinde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Moerberg's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Sneijers came free, but Jean Lenaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Huijsmans kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Douglas Sneijers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vroegeinde booed when Moerberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Van Den Driessche didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moerberg's goalkeeper Jean Lenaerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean Lenaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Sneijers, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Brent Cesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Gobbelijns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Sneijers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Lenaerts having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Moerberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Huijsmans to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brent Cesters to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Douglas Sneijers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jean Lenaerts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Alexandre Van Den Driessche fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moerberg's protests and gave Alexandre Van Den Driessche a yellow card for diving instead. Jean Lenaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Van Bouschot in the 57th minute of play. Joachim Gobbelijns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent Cesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute, Maxime Devaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean Lenaerts acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leo Uytterhaegen. Andries Ingelborgh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Lenaerts having to make a save. Douglas Sneijers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jean Lenaerts firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Van Bouschot in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Lenaerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Douglas Sneijers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Carlos Van Bouschot came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Vroegeinde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Van Bouschot couldn't finish the play. Douglas Sneijers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Jean Lenaerts skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Moerberg's Jean Lenaerts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Moerberg from getting a goal against them. Jean Lenaerts didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5.
