Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jean-Louis Van Dessen started the match with the kick off. In the 7thth minute of the game Staf Van Eijcken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waarmaarde's Werner van Hagenborgh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Huise's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harrie Gijselinkx fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Staf Van Eijcken notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Waarmaarde's Werner van Hagenborgh. The referee ignored Huise's protests and gave Bernt Stuckers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Waarmaarde booed when Huise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Stuckers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwenn Helssen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Louis Van Dessen in the 41st minute of play forced Huise's goalkeeper Basiel De Weijgaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Jean-Louis Van Dessen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waarmaarde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Louis Van Dessen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 played minutes Huise got a freekick which was hit by Gwenn Helssen. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Werner van Hagenborgh managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Huise's Sylvain Blomme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Staf Van Eijcken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lauren Wolput didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 75 minutes of play, Huise's Staf Van Eijcken made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Werner van Hagenborgh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harrie Gijselinkx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Sylvain Blomme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bernt Stuckers was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. The supporters of Waarmaarde booed when Huise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Stuckers didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Huise would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
