Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abraham Louckx started the match with the kick off. If Abraham Louckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corneel De Bisschop didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Izak Lanen went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 9 played minutes Lier got a freekick which was hit by Gery Blommaert. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Izak Lanen during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Lier got a freekick which was hit by Izak Lanen. Luka Smedts hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bonheiden getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luka Smedts hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Lier's Jim Schuts broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bonheiden's goalkeeper Corneel De Bisschop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leopold De Geest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Wesley Verhulst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Lier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Wortelaert to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Louckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bonheiden booed when Lier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Vanpevenaeyge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Abraham Louckx made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Verhulst. Lier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Abraham Louckx sped through Lier's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wesley Verhulst. When Bonheiden's Abraham Louckx in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lier's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Leopold De Geest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonheiden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopold De Geest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lier's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abraham Louckx 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. After 58 minutes, Ewout Franckx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bonheiden and the Lier players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bonheiden! The referee gave Lier a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jim Schuts, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bonheiden's Corneel De Bisschop. 2-4. Leopold De Geest struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Wesley Verhulst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonheiden. The audience was convinced that Abraham Louckx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wesley Verhulst was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Lier's Izak Lanen got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Wesley Verhulst was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leopold De Geest. Wesley Verhulst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Louckx in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Leopold De Geest fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 84 minutes into the match, Lier's goalkeeper Wesley Verhulst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopold De Geest. If Izak Lanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold De Geest could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Wesley Verhulst made a huge save. A collision led to Lier getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jim Schuts hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Lier's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Louckx came free, but Wesley Verhulst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Bonheiden left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lier.
