Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arend Elzen started the match with the kick off. KFC Jalhay's Giles Vanden Broucke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Jalhay from getting a goal against them. Sebastien Goossens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arend Elzen in the 16th minute of play. Giles Vanden Broucke made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Diedrik Vanpevenaeyge sent off a good shot on target. Giles Vanden Broucke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robrecht Schrevens's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Giles Vanden Broucke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diedrik Vanpevenaeyge went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Robrecht Schrevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giles Vanden Broucke having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Goebelens in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giles Vanden Broucke saved KFC Jalhay from getting behind. Giles Vanden Broucke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robrecht Schrevens in the 37th minute of play. Giles Vanden Broucke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robrecht Schrevens in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robrecht Schrevens in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giles Vanden Broucke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, KFC Jalhay's goal looked a bit too open when Diedrik Vanpevenaeyge came free, but Giles Vanden Broucke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robrecht Schrevens to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robrecht Schrevens in the 51st minute of play forced KFC Jalhay's goalkeeper Giles Vanden Broucke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giles Vanden Broucke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robrecht Schrevens in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Langemarks's Robrecht Schrevens got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robrecht Schrevens in the 61st minute of play forced KFC Jalhay's goalkeeper Giles Vanden Broucke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Langemarks's Robrecht Schrevens in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Jalhay's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Robrecht Schrevens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Langemarks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robrecht Schrevens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arend Elzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Staf Ombelets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes KFC Jalhay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Sulem. KFC Jalhay's Giles Vanden Broucke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robrecht Schrevens in the 85th minute of play. Ewout Spoelbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gustaaf Goebelens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Jalhay's zone, Robrecht Schrevens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giles Vanden Broucke came out of the goal and Robrecht Schrevens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Langemarks's Robrecht Schrevens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giles Vanden Broucke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Langemarks fully deserved thier win.
