Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Guy Vloebergh started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Refael Wils kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. RSC Asberg's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Matias Ballette 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. With a little luck, RSC Asberg's Piet Blocks got control of the ball when Jochen Goffyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 10th minute of the match Refael Wils completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Refael Wils a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 11th minute, Refael Wils hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Matias Ballette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jochen Goffyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piet Blocks having to interfere. Jochen Goffyn in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Piet Blocks, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 16th minute, Jochen Goffyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Louis De Malier charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Louis De Malier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Houffalize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Louis De Malier to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd play minute Jochen Goffyn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Piet Blocks. 2-0. RSC Asberg's Piet Blocks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Ballette in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes RSC Asberg got a freekick which was hit by Phillipe Pelleman. Piet Blocks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Ballette in the 33rd minute of the match. RSC Asberg's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Matias Ballette 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Houffalize fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Ballette made a kick off. Matias Ballette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Houffalize booed when RSC Asberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillipe Pelleman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenny Bauwens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Wollans having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Phillipe Pelleman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Wollans was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 66 minutes into the match, RSC Asberg's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Ballette came free, but Piet Blocks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piet Blocks came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Houffalize's Matias Ballette. But to his dismay, Matias Ballette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. If Matias Ballette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Jochen Goffyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Piet Blocks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Ballette, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, RSC Asberg's goal looked a bit too open when Jochen Goffyn came free, but Piet Blocks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Ballette in the 93rd minute of play forced RSC Asberg's goalkeeper Piet Blocks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Van den Haute's late challenge caught a RSC Asberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Van den Haute helped the player get up and apologised. For all the effort they put into the match, the RSC Asberg players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Houffalize.
