Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) KV Baal's Olliver Van der Vloedt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Wout Swiggers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lembeek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Baal the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Lembeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wout Swiggers to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Leemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Van der Vloedt in the 7th minute of play. Olliver Van der Vloedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Willem Verbeeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lembeek's Giovanni Goebelens got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KV Baal's Emmanuel Van Dessen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Goebelens in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Olliver Van der Vloedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thommy Putman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ferdinand Leemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Lembeek's goal looked a bit too open when Olliver Van der Vloedt came free, but Ferdinand Leemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludo Pelegrims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olliver Van der Vloedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Leemans having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Olliver Van der Vloedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emmanuel Van Dessen came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lembeek's Giovanni Goebelens. But to his dismay, Giovanni Goebelens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Olliver Van der Vloedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Leemans was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The long shot by Mattijs Van den Berghe in the 77th minute really tested Emmanuel Van Dessen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. KV Baal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Giovanni Goebelens scored to the left of an out of position Emmanuel Van Dessen, making the score, 1-2. Olliver Van der Vloedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ferdinand Leemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of KV Baal booed when Lembeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques De Cat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Van Dessen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Goebelens in the 92nd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lembeek walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
