Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Achilles Taverniers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Yvan Huijsmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Van Dessen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Baal's goalkeeper Emmanuel Van Dessen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thommy Putman kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olivier Vandommele during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KV Baal getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Olivier Vandommele hit a great ball. RSC Lichtervelde's Hendrik Landewijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olliver Van der Vloedt in the 12th minute of play. Olliver Van der Vloedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KV Baal's Emmanuel Van Dessen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilles Taverniers in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ludo Pelegrims managed to get in a good position for a shot. KV Baal's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludo Pelegrims was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hendrik Landewijck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olliver Van der Vloedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RSC Lichtervelde's Hendrik Landewijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olliver Van der Vloedt in the 29th minute of play. Ludo Pelegrims received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hendrik Landewijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yvan Huijsmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmanuel Van Dessen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yvan Huijsmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Godfried Gramet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ludo Pelegrims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olliver Van der Vloedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Yvan Huijsmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Emmanuel Van Dessen made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, KV Baal's goal looked a bit too open when Achilles Taverniers came free, but Emmanuel Van Dessen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achilles Taverniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When KV Baal's Olliver Van der Vloedt in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hendrik Landewijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olliver Van der Vloedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Achilles Taverniers came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the RSC Lichtervelde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achilles Taverniers couldn't finish the play. Achilles Taverniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Emmanuel Van Dessen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yvan Huijsmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmanuel Van Dessen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achilles Taverniers in the 91st minute of the match. Matias Armentier kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The RSC Lichtervelde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RSC Lichtervelde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
