FC Overbeek's Serge De Wulf got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Overbeek were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after KSV Tielt-Winge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diederik Reynaerts took the corner. The supporters of KSV Tielt-Winge booed when FC Overbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diederik Reynaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibau Thys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustijn Laureys, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Brent Van Dijcke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stephen Thielemans hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Brent Van Dijcke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Overbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Van Dijcke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martijn Vercruysse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David De Geest in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Augustijn Laureys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Overbeek getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. David De Geest hit a great ball. Tibau Thys made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Maurice Lannoye sent off a good shot on target. Geoffrey Velkeneers hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Serge De Wulf managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Overbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Serge De Wulf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martijn Vercruysse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Overbeek's Tibau Thys proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save FC Overbeek from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Overbeek getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. David De Geest hit a great ball. Augustijn Laureys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 55th play minutes Serge De Wulf shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Martijn Vercruysse and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 64th minute, Augustijn Laureys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tibau Thys was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo Wijnrijx during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teo Wijnrijx hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, KSV Tielt-Winge's goalkeeper Martijn Vercruysse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brent Van Dijcke. Martijn Vercruysse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge De Wulf, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Overbeek's zone, Maurice Lannoye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibau Thys came out of the goal and Maurice Lannoye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
