Youri Rosbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Youri Rosbach came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Lasne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Youri Rosbach couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, VC Zandvoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Youri Rosbach came free, but Laurens Roscams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Youri Rosbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Laurens Roscams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matt Van Kestbeek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel De Deygere having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, VC Zandvoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Youri Rosbach came free, but Laurens Roscams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Slaghmeulders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Youri Rosbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurens Roscams having to interfere. If Rob Slaghmeulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurens Roscams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Slaghmeulders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cedrik Deckkers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurens Roscams was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. VC Zandvoorde's Gert-Jan Winnepenninck got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gert-Jan Winnepenninck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel De Deygere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Felix Van Der Straeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Youri Rosbach was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matt Van Kestbeek during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Floris Van Hoof charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Floris Van Hoof the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Roben Van der Poorten fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lasne's protests and gave Roben Van der Poorten a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of VC Zandvoorde booed when Lasne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roben Van der Poorten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert-Jan Winnepenninck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel De Deygere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Gert-Jan Winnepenninck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lasne booed when VC Zandvoorde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Vissenaeckens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youri Rosbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Laurens Roscams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lasne players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VC Zandvoorde.
