De Huppelende Zebras's Herman Kortens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save De Huppelende Zebras from getting a goal against them. Tijs Van Gorpt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Conny Sjöberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manuel De Deygere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel De Deygere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Rueda, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tijs Van Gorpt in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel De Deygere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conny Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Manuel De Deygere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Rueda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel De Deygere having to interfere. If Conny Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Alex Rueda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel De Deygere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel De Deygere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Sjöberg in the 32nd minute of play. When Tijs Van Gorpt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Manuel De Deygere was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lasne! The referee gave De Huppelende Zebras a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alex Rueda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lasne's Manuel De Deygere. 0-2. After the first half De Huppelende Zebras were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tijs Van Gorpt was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, De Huppelende Zebras's Jerry Goebelens got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 54 played minutes Lasne got a freekick which was hit by Cedrik Deckkers. Conny Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, De Huppelende Zebras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Marichal to maneuver through the defense. Rob Slaghmeulders struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Herman Kortens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lasne. Conny Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Conny Sjöberg sped through Lasne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel De Deygere. Manuel De Deygere was a little too slow when Tijs Van Gorpt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 90th minute, Conny Sjöberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manuel De Deygere, passed just outside the right post. 91 minutes into the match, Lasne's goal looked a bit too open when Tijs Van Gorpt came free, but Manuel De Deygere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Conny Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
