Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wart Verstraeten kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, KAA Eke's Perry Tuytgans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timy Bernaerts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 6th minute, KAA Eke's Chris-George Daems dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 13th minute, Axel Bauweleers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Chris-George Daems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KAA Eke's Filip Holemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wart Verstraeten in the 19th minute of play. Filip Holemans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Senne Herremans went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Wart Verstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Senne Herremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wart Verstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Holemans having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perry Tuytgans got free with Timy Bernaerts in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Senne Herremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Senne Herremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senne Herremans in the 37th minute of play forced KAA Eke's goalkeeper Filip Holemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Senne Herremans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KAA Eke's Filip Holemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Senne Herremans in the 40th minute of play. Chris-George Daems's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timy Bernaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris-George Daems made a kick off. Wart Verstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Holemans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wart Verstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Filip Holemans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Senne Herremans in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Perry Tuytgans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perry Tuytgans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Timy Bernaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Senne Herremans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Holemans having to interfere. With a little luck, KAA Eke's Filip Holemans got control of the ball when Senne Herremans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Perry Tuytgans managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAA Eke's supporters rose to their feet, but Perry Tuytgans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timy Bernaerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perry Tuytgans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Perry Tuytgans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KAA Eke were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zeveren for a fine match.
