Oudenburg's Alexander Tkint proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Oudenburg from getting a goal against them. Alexander Tkint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem-Jan Vrancken in the 11th minute of play. If Will Rompen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Will Rompen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Tkint was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alexander Tkint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Van De Beeck in the 19th minute of the match. With his leg Alexander Tkint managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when De Salonsupporters's Will Rompen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pierre-Alexandre Van Beylen's late challenge caught a Oudenburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre-Alexandre Van Beylen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, De Salonsupporters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Alexandre Van Beylen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Helsens in the 57th minute of play forced De Salonsupporters's goalkeeper Arsene Van den Sande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pierre-Alexandre Van Beylen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Will Rompen in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Tkint prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Peter Van De Beeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Tkint. Oudenburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Van De Beeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The audience was convinced that Will Rompen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Tkint was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Clijsters during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rdth minute of the game Will Rompen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oudenburg's Alexander Tkint was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Willem-Jan Vrancken kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in De Salonsupporters's zone, Nicolas Degryse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsene Van den Sande came out of the goal and Nicolas Degryse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, De Salonsupporters's Willem-Jan Vrancken got a free kick in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Will Rompen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Salonsupporters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Will Rompen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. De Salonsupporters walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
