Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, Yvan Sustens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KVSK Chiny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Brugge KV the free kick. Luk De Mesemacre scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartjan Van de kauter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Arno Vercruysse took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Etienne De Hertoge to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rdth minute of the game Arno Vercruysse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KVSK Chiny's Etienne De Hertoge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arno Vercruysse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne De Hertoge having to interfere. Harrie Christiaens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne De Hertoge having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Etienne De Hertoge came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge KV's Arno Vercruysse. But to his dismay, Arno Vercruysse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Harrie Christiaens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Etienne De Hertoge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, KVSK Chiny's goal looked a bit too open when Harrie Christiaens came free, but Etienne De Hertoge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harrie Christiaens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne De Hertoge having to interfere. Arno Vercruysse kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Harrie Christiaens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KVSK Chiny's Isaac Volle got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Arno Vercruysse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Brugge KV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arno Vercruysse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chris-George Justus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Etienne De Hertoge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Etienne De Hertoge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Vercruysse in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Club Brugge KV's Arno Vercruysse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Etienne De Hertoge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Bartjan Van de kauter made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Yvan Sustens sent off a good shot on target. KVSK Chiny's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isaac Volle in the 87th minute. KVSK Chiny's Isaac Volle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartjan Van de kauter in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arno Vercruysse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne De Hertoge having to interfere. Arthur Van Hautvin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KVSK Chiny! The referee gave Club Brugge KV a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stan De Custer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KVSK Chiny's Etienne De Hertoge. 5-1.
