Spartak Lier's Lucjan Domala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Spartak Lier from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute Remy Jannes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Cremers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Matias Meersman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spartak Lier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lepelhem the free kick. The supporters of Spartak Lier booed when Lepelhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Vrijdags didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spartak Lier's Lucjan Domala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Van Den Broek in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Remy Jannes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartak Lier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Reinard De Spiegeleire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludwig Van Den Broek to make the kick off. A collision led to Spartak Lier getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Remy Jannes hit a great ball. Ludwig Van Den Broek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lucjan Domala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remy Jannes scored 0-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmond Cremers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
