Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludwig Van Den Broek kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernd Gillekens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edmond Cremers. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lepelhem's Jesse Fouquet got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Reinard De Spiegeleire came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lepelhem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinard De Spiegeleire couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Lepelhem's Edmond Cremers got control of the ball when Mats Dams tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmond Cremers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernd Gillekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lepelhem getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mattheo Leroy hit a great ball. Diego Van Beveren charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Van Beveren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Lepelhem's Edmond Cremers got control of the ball when Tom Lenoir tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bernd Gillekens came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the KFC Riethof fans jumped to their feet. Tom Lenoir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Cremers having to interfere. Lepelhem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Bernd Gillekens scored to the left of an out of position Edmond Cremers, making the score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernd Gillekens made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ludwig Van Den Broek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lepelhem's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Van Den Broek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Raniers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reinard De Spiegeleire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludwig Van Den Broek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mattias Raniers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Raniers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Van Den Broek in the 57th minute of play. If Tom Lenoir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of KFC Riethof booed when Lepelhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattheo Leroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernd Gillekens struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Edmond Cremers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Riethof. After 66 played minutes Lepelhem got a freekick which was hit by Nils Correyns. Tom Lenoir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmond Cremers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Lenoir, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Mattheo Leroy charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bernd Gillekens took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmond Cremers. Edmond Cremers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Tibo Ruttens kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Reinard De Spiegeleire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Raniers having to interfere. Reinard De Spiegeleire struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mattias Raniers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lepelhem. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernd Gillekens in the 96th minute of play forced Lepelhem's goalkeeper Edmond Cremers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lepelhem's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
