Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yanniek De Ceijser started the match with the kick off. Stephen Kindermans was a little too slow when Yanniek De Ceijser got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Dieghem's Stephen Kindermans got control of the ball when Kent Maerschalckx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kent Maerschalckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Stephen Kindermans made a huge save. Jos Ravoet came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Dieghem's Christoff Emeleers. But to his dismay, Christoff Emeleers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Matias Raniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jos Ravoet having to interfere. Stephen Kindermans made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Kent Maerschalckx sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Christoff Emeleers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dieghem's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoff Emeleers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jos Ravoet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Matias Van Gheel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KFC Varendonk's Jos Ravoet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoff Emeleers in the 28th minute of play. Matias Raniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Dieghem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ward Neesens to maneuver through the defense. Anthony Decloedt hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Dieghem's Matias Raniers got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christoff Emeleers to make the kick off. Jos Ravoet was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Christoff Emeleers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christoff Emeleers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Stephen Kindermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanniek De Ceijser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yanniek De Ceijser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Stephen Kindermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Dieghem's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Maerschalckx came free, but Stephen Kindermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jos Ravoet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Raniers in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Maerschalckx in the 73rd minute of play forced Dieghem's goalkeeper Stephen Kindermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoff Emeleers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jos Ravoet having to interfere. After 85 played minutes KFC Varendonk got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Simon Anthonissen. Yanniek De Ceijser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Stephen Kindermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephen Kindermans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yanniek De Ceijser went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
