Jos Ravoet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janes Van Adorp in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janes Van Adorp made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Poesele's Robbrecht Van Halssbeeck got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, KFC Varendonk's Jan-Simon Anthonissen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Janes Van Adorp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jos Ravoet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Laporte during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KFC Varendonk booed when Poesele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Laporte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KFC Varendonk fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when KFC Varendonk's Yanniek De Ceijser looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Poesele's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
