Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christoff Emeleers started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Matias Raniers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dieghem's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Raniers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toon De Middeleer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stephen Kindermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matijs Cremers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Flat Beat booed when Dieghem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joerie Coekelberghs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Christoff Emeleers rounded FC Flat Beat's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Stephen Kindermans came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Flat Beat's Benny Theijs. But to his dismay, Benny Theijs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Flat Beat's goalkeeper Toon De Middeleer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matijs Cremers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Stephen Kindermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Flat Beat's Matijs Cremers got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Matias Raniers came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Dieghem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Raniers couldn't finish the play. In the 41st match minute, Dieghem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Aelgoet to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Benny Theijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephen Kindermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephen Kindermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matijs Cremers in the 44th minute of play. Herman De Roeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Kindermans having to interfere.

After 53 played minutes Dieghem got a freekick which was hit by Joerie Coekelberghs. With an all-out effort, FC Flat Beat's Stephen Kindermans threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matijs Cremers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Matijs Cremers succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 60th playminute. The FC Flat Beat fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when FC Flat Beat's Giannis Ioannidis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72nd minute, Christoff Emeleers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dieghem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. If Christoff Emeleers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giannis Ioannidis got free with Stephen Kindermans in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Matias Raniers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dieghem's Stephen Kindermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matijs Cremers in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, FC Flat Beat's Giannis Ioannidis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stephen Kindermans. Stephen Kindermans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bart Van Heurick got free with Stephen Kindermans in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benny Theijs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Stephen Kindermans made a huge save. In the 94th minute Matijs Cremers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephen Kindermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FC Flat Beat left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dieghem.
