Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thomas-Jan Buyck made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas-Jan Buyck in the 3rd minute of play forced KV Vresse's goalkeeper Arend Devriendt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Belmans's late challenge caught a KV Vresse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent Belmans helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Seneffe getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Vincent Belmans hit a great ball. Bastiaan De Cock charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastiaan De Cock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Seneffe booed when KV Vresse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaan De Cock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, KV Vresse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantijn Meijers to maneuver through the defense. Constantijn Meijers struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Marcus Sliepers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Vresse. 20 minutes into the match, Seneffe's goal looked a bit too open when Davy Verhagen came free, but Marcus Sliepers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sander Stoorms hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Seneffe's Marcus Sliepers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davy Verhagen in the 22nd minute of play. Marcus Sliepers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Verhagen in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Constantijn Meijers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Seneffe's goal looked a bit too open when Davy Verhagen came free, but Marcus Sliepers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Sliepers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Verhagen in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Seneffe getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sander Stoorms hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes KV Vresse got a freekick which was hit by Constantijn Meijers. Davy Verhagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Sliepers having to interfere. When Thomas-Jan Buyck came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Seneffe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas-Jan Buyck couldn't finish the play. After 44 minutes of play, Seneffe's Vincent Belmans made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arend Devriendt was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Constantijn Meijers made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Davy Verhagen made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Seneffe's Marcus Sliepers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacques Dejonghe hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes, Seneffe's Dyllan Huijgens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arend Devriendt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seneffe reached it. Arend Devriendt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Belmans in the 61st minute of play. Thomas-Jan Buyck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Seneffe's Vincent Belmans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arend Devriendt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dyllan Huijgens charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dyllan Huijgens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Vincent Belmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas-Jan Buyck in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arend Devriendt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Thomas-Jan Buyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastiaan De Cock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Sliepers made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Davy Verhagen sent off a good shot on target. Arend Devriendt came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Seneffe's Vincent Belmans. But to his dismay, Vincent Belmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 94th match minute, KV Vresse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik Buelens to maneuver through the defense.
