Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Alexander Cuppens notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SK Eiksken's Kenney Decoster. Kenney Decoster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 minutes, Rolf Neesens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Eiksken and the SC Rooigem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, SK Eiksken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Neesens to maneuver through the defense. Kenney Decoster acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Frederik De Bruyn. Alexander Cuppens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kenney Decoster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Kenney Decoster managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when SC Rooigem's Kristof Van Lier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th match minute, SK Eiksken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiaan Uijterhoeven to maneuver through the defense. If Alexander Cuppens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of SC Rooigem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SK Eiksken:s goal. Simon De Witte placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Kristof Van Lier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinand Vos charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Vos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferdinand Vos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Kristof Van Liers short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Kenney Decoster to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexander Cuppens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kenney Decoster. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Kristof Van Lier managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Rooigem's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristof Van Lier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenney Decoster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in SK Eiksken's zone, Kristof Van Lier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenney Decoster came out of the goal and Kristof Van Lier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Alexander Cuppens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenney Decoster was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Alexander Cuppens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kenney Decoster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenney Decoster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristof Van Lier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Rooigem's Alexander Cuppens got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenney Decoster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Van Lier in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Alexander Cuppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenney Decoster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Cuppens in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenney Decoster saved SK Eiksken from getting behind. Kenney Decoster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristof Van Lier, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Alexander Cuppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenney Decoster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Kristof Van Lier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristof Van Lier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robbin De Meur hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. SC Rooigem's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
