Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexander Cuppens started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Ferdinand Vos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vielsalm's Matias Callens in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Rooigem's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Frederik De Bruyn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jaspar Van Maestricht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Cuppens in the 16th minute of the match. If Kristof Van Lier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Cuppens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaspar Van Maestricht having to interfere. When Vielsalm's Matias Callens in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Rooigem's goalie prevented a goal. Rein Terreur hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Matthias Van den Hoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Coenen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Cuppens in the 35th minute of play forced Vielsalm's goalkeeper Jaspar Van Maestricht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaspar Van Maestricht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Cuppens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaspar Van Maestricht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristof Van Lier in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kristof Van Lier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jaspar Van Maestricht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaspar Van Maestricht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Cuppens, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Rein Terreur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vielsalm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Rooigem the free kick. Rein Terreur hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Daan Andriesens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaspar Van Maestricht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robbin De Meur during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Van den Hoff in the 71st minute of play forced SC Rooigem's goalkeeper Kevin Coenen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Cuppens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matthias Van den Hoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Youri Van Cleijnenbreughel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Alexander Cuppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaspar Van Maestricht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Vielsalm's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Cuppens came free, but Jaspar Van Maestricht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alexander Cuppens came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SC Rooigem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Cuppens couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute of the match Richy Van Heerle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaspar Van Maestricht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Callens got free with Kevin Coenen in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despite being the better team, SC Rooigem failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
