Emiel Snoekens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Josef Sellekaers managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Oosthoven's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Sellekaers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Louis Roockeloes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias De Metser blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wayne De Wilde having to make a save. 24 minutes into the match, KFC Oosthoven's goal looked a bit too open when Emiel Snoekens came free, but Wayne De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Josef Sellekaers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Louis Roockeloes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Sellekaers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Ignace Seveneijns left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Oosthoven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ernst Geijselinckx kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Carel Paelinck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Genappe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Oosthoven the free kick. The supporters of KFC Oosthoven booed when Club Genappe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel Paelinck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billie Bellinkx kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, one of KFC Oosthoven:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KFC Oosthoven. KFC Oosthoven:s Wayne De Wilde showed great skill when he stopped Laurent Van Achten:s penalty. Elias De Metser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne De Wilde having to interfere. A collision led to Club Genappe getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Laurent Van Achten hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, KFC Oosthoven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gill Franckx to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Louis Roockeloes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Sellekaers in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KFC Oosthoven's Gunther De Wit got a free kick in the 78th minute. Elias De Metser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiel Snoekens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Wayne De Wilde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wayne Gielis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Genappe's Octave Van Der Heijden got a free kick in the 94th minute.
