Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) KRC Bambrugge's Felix Van Meenen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yelle De kaiser in the 4th minute of play forced KRC Bambrugge's goalkeeper Willy Poets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Van Meenen in the 6th minute of play forced SK Bijvoorde's goalkeeper Laurent Weygaers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Christopher Van Acht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KRC Bambrugge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Bijvoorde the free kick. In the 9th minute, Christopher Van Acht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Christopher Van Acht was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 12 minutes had been played. The supporters of SK Bijvoorde booed when KRC Bambrugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Van Acht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeffrey Diependaele lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for SK Bijvoorde. Artur De Keyser stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Willy Poets. 0-1. After a rather tough play, KRC Bambrugge's Matias Aelgoet got a free kick in the 29th minute. Yelle De kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Willy Poets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Yelle De kaiser in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 39th minute Matias Aelgoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Weygaers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, KRC Bambrugge's goal looked a bit too open when Armand Mestdagh came free, but Willy Poets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SK Bijvoorde booed when KRC Bambrugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Saelens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Yelle De kaiser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half SK Bijvoorde were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Yelle De kaiser made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, KRC Bambrugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Saelens to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, KRC Bambrugge's Willy Poets got control of the ball when Armand Mestdagh tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Felix Van Meenen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yelle De kaiser was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. SK Bijvoorde's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 66th minute Yelle De kaiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Poets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th of the match, Yelle De kaiser tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Willy Poets got in the way and made a wonderful save. Armand Mestdagh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Poets having to interfere. With his leg Willy Poets managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when SK Bijvoorde's Armand Mestdagh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 79 minutes, Yelle De kaiser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Bijvoorde and the KRC Bambrugge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armand Mestdagh might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willy Poets. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armand Mestdagh ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Van Meenen charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Van Meenen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, KRC Bambrugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Van Meenen to maneuver through the defense. Yelle De kaiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurent Weygaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Van Meenen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Yelle De kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Poets having to interfere. SK Bijvoorde's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
