After taking down the ball on SK Bijvoorde's corner Artur De Keyser fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ben Weygaers quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute, Bertrand Vandeput reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ben Weygaers. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Noirefontaine's Ben Weygaers got control of the ball when Armand Mestdagh tried to sneak it across the goal line. The coaching staff of SK Bijvoorde protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Artur De Keyser had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of SK Bijvoorde:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Noirefontaine:s goal. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Noirefontaine. Jef Van der Meiren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Laurent Weygaers. 3-2. In the 78th minute, Fabrice Naets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diederick Uijterhoeven took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ben Weygaers. Noirefontaine's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Armand Mestdagh scored 4-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ben Weygaers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
