The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jef Goethuys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Goossens in the 3rd minute of play. 齐迪星s short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Jef Goethuys to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When SV Club RUPEL's Robert Ek in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merkem's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Merkem's Jef Goethuys got control of the ball when 齐迪星 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Robert Ek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jef Goethuys. Robert Ek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Club RUPEL's Robert Ek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jef Goethuys. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. 齐迪星 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jef Goethuys made a huge save. In the 18th minute, 齐迪星 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anier Casado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jef Goethuys. Merkem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eymeric Minard struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jef Goethuys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Club RUPEL. Jef Goethuys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ek in the 27th minute of the match. 齐迪星 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jef Goethuys having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Ek in the 34th minute of play forced Merkem's goalkeeper Jef Goethuys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 齐迪星 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jef Goethuys 36 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, SV Club RUPEL's 齐迪星 made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jef Goethuys was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SV Club RUPEL getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eymeric Minard hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

齐迪星 scored 5-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jef Goethuys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 54 played minutes SV Club RUPEL got a freekick which was hit by Eymeric Minard. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Robert Ek put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jef Goethuys. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Merkem's goalkeeper Jef Goethuys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 齐迪星 took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jef Goethuys. Jef Goethuys dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Robert Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jef Goethuys having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, 齐迪星 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jef Goethuys. Merkem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 齐迪星 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Jef Goethuys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 齐迪星 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jef Goethuys having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Robert Ek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jef Goethuys was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Robert Ek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jef Goethuys. Merkem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Ek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. SV Club RUPEL's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
