Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Schouters started the match with the kick off. Joel Schouters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Bruno Du Molin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rozen's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Du Molin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brain Fierens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jon Bauwens kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Joel Schouters might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorg De Clerk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Schouters ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes KV Rattendaal got a freekick which was hit by Alan de Pelsmakere. Daevy Figaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brain Fierens. KV Rattendaal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brain Fierens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Du Molin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Du Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Brain Fierens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Du Molin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brain Fierens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Du Molin in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Stephan Quvelirs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rozen's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephan Quvelirs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brain Fierens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Rattendaal's goalkeeper Brain Fierens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Joel Schouters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brain Fierens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Du Molin in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Du Molin to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorg De Clerk was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Stein Severens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stein Severens really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Rozen's Stephan Quvelirs got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brain Fierens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Du Molin in the 61st minute of play. Bruno Du Molin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brain Fierens having to interfere. Stephan Quvelirs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Brain Fierens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rozen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Joel Schouters scored to the left of an out of position Jorg De Clerk, making the score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Du Molin in the 75th minute of play forced KV Rattendaal's goalkeeper Brain Fierens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomm Caes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jorg De Clerk made a huge save. After 84 played minutes KV Rattendaal got a freekick which was hit by Joel Schouters. KV Rattendaal's Brain Fierens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Du Molin in the 85th minute of play. Rozen's Jorg De Clerk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Schouters in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Kim Cheepers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rozen's Rudy Huyberechts got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Rozen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KV Rattendaal's performance. The match ended with a win for KV Rattendaal.
