The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joonatan De Vlaeminck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rajmond Van den Brul, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Joonatan De Vlaeminck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Estebe in the 7th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Andres Oper dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Andres Oper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filiph Klemensson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Andres Oper sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Sleepy Soldiers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rajmond Van den Brul came free, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiph Klemensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Oper, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Sleepy Soldiers FC were awarded a corner. Frits Cromefeldt went to the cornerflag to take it. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rajmond Van den Brul in the 30th minute of play. Joonatan De Vlaeminck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rajmond Van den Brul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Filiph Klemensson managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Sleepy Soldiers FC's Andres Oper fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Balu De Hond got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Sleepy Soldiers FC's Andres Oper got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Andres Oper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Oper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Klemensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Andres Oper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romain Lanckneus made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Silvio Estebe however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Oper in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiph Klemensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filiph Klemensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Oper in the 84th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Andres Oper made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiph Klemensson was left in no man's land by his defense there!
