Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Achilles Van der Voert got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Simon de la Croix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Vito in the 4th minute of play forced Grammene's goalkeeper Dolf Kindermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Isaac Vito made a precise shot to the right of Dolf Kindermans. Grammene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th minute Isaac Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dolf Kindermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Vito struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dolf Kindermans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Merchtem. Silvio Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dolf Kindermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, VC Merchtem's Filiph Klemensson got control of the ball when Max Ceusters tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, VC Merchtem's goalkeeper Filiph Klemensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Ceusters. Grammene's Dolf Kindermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Estebe in the 24th minute of play. Isaac Vito scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dolf Kindermans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Silvio Estebe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dolf Kindermans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After having played for 35 minutes, Isaac Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Merchtem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Vito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiph Klemensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Ceusters, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ignace Stroobans kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Max Ceusters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grammene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Ceusters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rajmond Van den Brul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Max Ceusters got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Silvio Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Grammene players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VC Merchtem were winning 0-3.

Dolf Kindermans came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by VC Merchtem's Silvio Estebe. But to his dismay, Silvio Estebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 56 minutes into the match, VC Merchtem's Silvio Estebe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dolf Kindermans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 minutes of play, VC Merchtem's Isaac Vito made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dolf Kindermans was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute Max Ceusters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Klemensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Estebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Dolf Kindermans made a huge save. With an all-out effort, VC Merchtem's Dolf Kindermans threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaac Vito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silvio Estebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Dolf Kindermans made a huge save. Dolf Kindermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Fre Gevaert struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Filiph Klemensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grammene. In the 84th match minute, Grammene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Kindermans to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Isaac Vito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dolf Kindermans, 0-7. Isaac Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Dolf Kindermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michiel Stuijckens kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Grammene fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VC Merchtem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
