Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dominic Tombeurs got the match started through his kick off. Sammy Candries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Asselberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 5 played minutes Brugse Boeren got a freekick which was hit by Wout Rompen. A hard shot 8 in the game by Romário Molina from a close distance when the talented Sammy Candries managed to make a qualified save. Brugse Boeren's players were relieved. Romário Molina took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sammy Candries. Sammy Candries dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 12 minutes, Jason Asselberghs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young Ostend United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jason Asselberghs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute of the match, Romário Molina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sammy Candries was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Asselberghs in the 16th minute of play forced Brugse Boeren's goalkeeper Sammy Candries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sammy Candries made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Joks in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jason Asselberghs in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sammy Candries saved Brugse Boeren from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Brugse Boeren's goalkeeper Sammy Candries had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário Molina. Jason Asselberghs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Sammy Candries made a huge save. Romário Molina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brugse Boeren's goalkeeper Sammy Candries, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Young Ostend United's Romário Molina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Romário Molina's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sammy Candries firmly grabbed it by the left post. 34 minutes in the game Wout Rompen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Roger Van de Velde. Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Tombeurs in the 35th minute of play. When Young Ostend United's Jason Asselberghs in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 38th minute, Brugse Boeren's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jason Asselberghs fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brugse Boeren! Sammy Candries had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Leontin Vârșan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Romário Molina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Sammy Candries made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
Sammy Candries stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jason Asselberghs's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute of the match Cornel Murgan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sammy Candries skillfully saved the ball. In the 56th minute Romário Molina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Candries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romário Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sammy Candries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jason Asselberghs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sammy Candries was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornel Murgan during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Young Ostend United getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cornel Murgan hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Stanny Van Gorp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romário Molina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Jason Asselberghs notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Brugse Boeren's Sammy Candries. Sammy Candries was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the match, Brugse Boeren's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Asselberghs came free, but Sammy Candries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Joppe Van Goitsenhoven made a precise shot to the right of Sammy Candries. Brugse Boeren's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Young Ostend United's attentive Kris Rondou managed to snatch the ball when Roger Van de Velde made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Young Ostend United's Romário Molina got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sammy Candries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Asselberghs in the 92nd minute of the match. Sammy Candries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Asselberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Young Ostend United had won after a very even match.
