Kristof Van Bael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedrik De Muysere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Purple Talent's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cedrik De Muysere was slow to take the kick. During this time PELT VV's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cedrik De Muysere got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristof Van Bael quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Purple Talent's Kristof Van Bael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedrik De Muysere in the 6th minute of play. Cedrik De Muysere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kristof Van Bael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Abalos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristof Van Bael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Raimundo Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, PELT VV's Raimundo Abalos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristof Van Bael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedrik De Muysere in the 23rd minute of play forced Purple Talent's goalkeeper Kristof Van Bael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Raimundo Abalos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristof Van Bael was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Raimundo Abalos might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristof Van Bael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Abalos ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cedrik De Muysere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charl Verelst's late challenge caught a PELT VV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charl Verelst helped the player get up and apologised. Charl Verelst kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Purple Talent! After some careless play in the Purple Talent defense, Raimundo Abalos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristof Van Bael. The Purple Talent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristof Van Bael should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Verheije to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, PELT VV's Cedrik De Muysere sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristof Van Bael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Raimundo Abalos could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Kristof Van Bael however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Purple Talent defense, Raimundo Abalos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristof Van Bael. The Purple Talent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristof Van Bael should have stopped the shot. Charl Verelst kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, one of Purple Talent:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Purple Talent. The score was 0-6 after a penalty in the 68th minute, where PELT VV:s Cedrik De Muysere tricked Purple Talent:s Kristof Van Bael with a difficult ball by the left post. After a rather tough play, Purple Talent's Mats Spoelbergh got a free kick in the 71st minute. Kristof Van Bael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Abalos went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Raimundo Abalos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Jannic De Wilde reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristof Van Bael. The goal made the score 0-8. In the 86th minute, Jannic De Wilde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Teo De Schutter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cedrik De Muysere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PELT VV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
