The Bouillon fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Bouillon's Fadıl Balaban looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Bert Hollants kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gery Du Bois. That made the score 3-0 in the 11 minute of play. After some careless play in the Sporting Lokeren defense, Fadıl Balaban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gery Du Bois. The Sporting Lokeren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gery Du Bois should have stopped the shot. With 21 minutes on the clock, Dave Van Der Eyde commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 20 minutes into the game, one of Sporting Lokeren:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Bouillon's Nick Van Havent got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gery Du Bois. Gery Du Bois was a little too slow when Fadıl Balaban got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 6-0. Sporting Lokeren's Gery Du Bois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Lokeren from getting a goal against them. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Bouillon's Nick Van Havent got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gery Du Bois. After having played for 38 minutes, Bert Hollants managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouillon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bert Hollants was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Bert Hollants recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gery Du Bois. Bert Hollants showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-0. Gery Du Bois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadıl Balaban in the 46th minute of play. 10-0 became the score in the 47th minute when Fadıl Balaban elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Gijselinx was the one to do the kick off. When Bouillon's Fadıl Balaban in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gery Du Bois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bert Hollants's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Sporting Lokeren's goal looked a bit too open when Fadıl Balaban came free, but Gery Du Bois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bouillon fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Bouillon's Fadıl Balaban looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of Bouillon booed when Sporting Lokeren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tijs Van Bever didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the game Jens Sas made a throw-in which Tijs Van Bever played forward. Tommas Verhaegen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fadıl Balaban scored 15-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gery Du Bois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Bouillon's Bert Hollants in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 95th minute, Fadıl Balaban made a precise shot to the right of Gery Du Bois. Sporting Lokeren's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bouillon had played much better football throughout.
