Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brent Selleslags got the match started through his kick off. Raimundo Abalos scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gery Du Bois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Lokeren's Gery Du Bois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedrik De Muysere in the 10th minute of play. Jos Laremans's late challenge caught a Sporting Lokeren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jos Laremans helped the player get up and apologised. Jos Laremans hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Vicente Gijselinx could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Joannes Antheunis however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Gijselinx got free with Joannes Antheunis in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Cedrik De Muysere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes of play, PELT VV's Cedrik De Muysere made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gery Du Bois was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joannes Antheunis came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Lokeren's Vicente Gijselinx. But to his dismay, Vicente Gijselinx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cedrik De Muysere in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gery Du Bois saved Sporting Lokeren from getting behind. Gery Du Bois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cedrik De Muysere's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The supporters of PELT VV booed when Sporting Lokeren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles-Antoine Gijselinckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cedrik De Muysere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gery Du Bois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedrik De Muysere, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Pieter-Maarten Matthieu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Joannes Antheunis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matty Puttemas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The Sporting Lokeren players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PELT VV were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cedrik De Muysere to strike the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Abalos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 minutes of play, PELT VV's Raimundo Abalos made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gery Du Bois was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the match, Raimundo Abalos notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Sporting Lokeren's Gery Du Bois. Gery Du Bois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raimundo Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gery Du Bois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Raimundo Abalos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PELT VV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 69th minute, PELT VV's Cedrik De Muysere ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gery Du Bois. Gery Du Bois yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Gery Du Bois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Abalos in the 78th minute. Charles-Antoine Gijselinckx hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. PELT VV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
