Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Voorhof kicked off to start the match. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Schoutens in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Sint-Niklaas getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Fabien Mallecots hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Remco Roeland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Verhaghen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Frederick Declerck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaert Neirynck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Sporting Ledeseyde got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Weggers. 20 minutes into the match, Hugo Voorhof notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sporting Ledeseyde's Reinaert Neirynck. Reinaert Neirynck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Schoutens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Frederick Declerck put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Reinaert Neirynck. After 32 minutes of play, Sporting Ledeseyde's Jerry Verhaghen made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Martínez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Verhaghen, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sint-Niklaas's Hugo Voorhof got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen De Wever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The wind increased when Steffen De Wever made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Steffen De Wever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Ledeseyde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen De Wever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen De Wever in the 59th minute of play. Reinaert Neirynck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederick Declerck in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Remco Roeland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Sint-Niklaas got a freekick which was hit by Remi Isebergh. Emiliano Martínez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Robbrecht Cuppens. In the 73rd minute of the match, Remco Roeland got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emiliano Martínez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 75th minute, Axel Weets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Sporting Ledeseyde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilliam Roussel to maneuver through the defense. When Hugo Voorhof came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sint-Niklaas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Voorhof couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remco Roeland got free with Emiliano Martínez in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Hugo Voorhof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaert Neirynck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Jan-Pieter Sempels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sint-Niklaas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Pieter Sempels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Weets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Steffen De Wever was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Ledeseyde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sint-Niklaas the free kick. Steffen De Wever hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Reinaert Neirynck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Voorhof went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score.
