Corneel Reiniers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in But Anderlecht AC's zone, Mattijs Van Der Meeren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneel Reiniers came out of the goal and Mattijs Van Der Meeren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattijs Van Der Meeren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Corneel Reiniers made a huge save. After a rather tough play, But Anderlecht AC's Danny van der Eycken got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in But Anderlecht AC's zone, Mattijs Van Der Meeren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneel Reiniers came out of the goal and Mattijs Van Der Meeren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattijs Van Der Meeren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Corneel Reiniers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 29 minutes into the match, Gaetan Van Beveren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bob Vranken. Joris Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaetan Van Beveren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 31st minute, Danny van der Eycken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corneel Reiniers didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Joris Team's Mattijs Van Der Meeren shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Joris Team's Aime Huijghens pulled a muscle in his back after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danny van der Eycken during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joris Team's Birger Vrolijcx was substituted for Aime Huijghens. A collision led to But Anderlecht AC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Danny van der Eycken hit a great ball. David Gysens struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Corneel Reiniers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joris Team. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattijs Van Der Meeren was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Gaetan Van Beveren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes of play, Joris Team's Mattijs Van Der Meeren made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corneel Reiniers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Louis Van Bever's late challenge caught a But Anderlecht AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louis Van Bever helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Louis Van Bever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But Anderlecht AC's Corneel Reiniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattijs Van Der Meeren in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the But Anderlecht AC defense, David Gysens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneel Reiniers. The But Anderlecht AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneel Reiniers should have stopped the shot. Mattijs Van Der Meeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mattijs Van Der Meeren scored 6-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneel Reiniers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gustave Heijlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85thth minute of the game Mattijs Van Der Meeren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but But Anderlecht AC's Corneel Reiniers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danny van der Eycken kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Louis Van Bever hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
