Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Glenn Clijsters started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Clijsters in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Hostens saved ZVC Wellen from getting behind. When Bartjan Slegers fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZVC Wellen's protests and gave Bartjan Slegers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, ZVC Wellen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartjan Slegers to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Glenn Clijsters notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ZVC Wellen's William Hostens. William Hostens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Furo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek came free, but Gill Roukeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gill Roukeloes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek in the 18th minute of play. When Roland Van Langhendoncx fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furo AFC's protests and gave Roland Van Langhendoncx a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Furo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roland Van Langhendoncx. In the 25th minute, one of ZVC Wellen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ZVC Wellen. Furo AFC's Roland Van Langhendoncx got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Roland Van Langhendoncx off the ground. After a rather tough play, Furo AFC's Roland Van Langhendoncx got a free kick in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Furo AFC's Guillaume Van Meerbeeck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Hostens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Benne Tuytgans managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZVC Wellen's supporters rose to their feet, but Benne Tuytgans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gill Roukeloes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glenn Clijsters's late challenge caught a ZVC Wellen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glenn Clijsters helped the player get up and apologised. Gill Roukeloes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benne Tuytgans in the 45th minute. Glenn Clijsters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Hostens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

ZVC Wellen's Alan Huybrechts suffered a sore thigh after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dre Van Bever during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. ZVC Wellen made a substitution. Edward Van de Schrieck replaced Alan Huybrechts. The supporters of ZVC Wellen booed when Furo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dre Van Bever didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Hostens made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Glenn Clijsters sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute of the match Furo AFC got a corner. ZVC Wellen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robbie Loos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Glenn Clijsters's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, William Hostens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robbie Loos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Hostens having to interfere. William Hostens was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Glenn Clijsters capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Glenn Clijsters really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Dre Van Bever made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Quentin Van de Poel immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Furo AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Glenn Clijsters hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Furo AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
