In the 27thth minute of the game Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpina FC's Didier Schollens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 minutes, Ief Cromefeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpina FC and the ZVC Wellen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermenegildo Castilho to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Hermenegildo Castilho notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of ZVC Wellen's William Hostens. William Hostens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Hostens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Hostens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babacar Sylla in the 76th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Alexander Van Hautvinck made a precise shot to the right of William Hostens. ZVC Wellen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Alpina FC's Daniel Alves was substituted for Babacar Sylla. 86 minutes into the match, Cezary Owsiak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Hostens. ZVC Wellen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Owsiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 89th minute, Hermenegildo Castilho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alpina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. 92 minutes into the game, Ken Van Hautvinck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZVC Wellen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alpina FC the free kick. A collision led to ZVC Wellen getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ken Van Hautvinck hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Alpina FC's Alfons Van Mellaert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Hostens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Alpina FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
