The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christiaan Gielens was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Christiaan Gielens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Cox was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After 93 played minutes V.D.B. Foundation got a freekick which was hit by Tibaut Elssen. 97 minutes into the game, Bob Le Page was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. V.D.B. Foundation's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KSV Ursene the free kick. After a rather tough play, V.D.B.
