Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Racing Matinette's Casper Jans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goalkeeper Casper Jans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philippe-Arnaud Heremans. The Everett Hawks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feijo Fresnos in the 15th minute. The corner led The Everett Hawks's Fre van Eijnde to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Jans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 20th minute Matthew Van Cauwenbergh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludo Vanden Bossche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Everett Hawks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matthew Van Cauwenbergh was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Matinette's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Racing Matinette's Matthew Van Cauwenbergh to fire away a dangerous shot which Ludo Vanden Bossche despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Munhoz in the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Abdi Mehmet Rakim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Jans was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 36 played minutes The Everett Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Imral Kurniawan. After a rather tough play, Racing Matinette's Yu Le Xi got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Racing Matinette's Casper Jans got control of the ball when Abdi Mehmet Rakim tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute Abdi Mehmet Rakim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Jans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Creemers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casper Jans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Fre van Eijnde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Jans. Racing Matinette's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fre van Eijnde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 62 minutes, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Everett Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philippe-Arnaud Heremans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Jans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 70th minute of play forced Racing Matinette's goalkeeper Casper Jans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Jans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Ruben Van Der Taelen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Matinette and the The Everett Hawks players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save The Everett Hawks from getting a goal against them. In the 95thth minute of the game Abdi Mehmet Rakim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Matinette's Casper Jans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
