Though ot was a great shot Limburg United's keeper Sean Van Dijck was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Atak Zor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Sean Van Dijck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reinard Van Ghele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris De Raeve in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Reinard Van Ghele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sean Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Vloebergh in the 9th minute of play. Sean Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atak Zor, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The attack was good, but when Atak Zor in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Vloebergh in the 16th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Joris De Raeve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limburg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Reinard Van Ghele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brend Vanden Driessche in the 27th minute of play. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Atak Zor was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sean Van Dijck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atak Zor in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Fredrik Terwenhout cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Reinard Van Ghele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Limburg United's Anios Karaoulanis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinard Van Ghele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reinard Van Ghele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris De Raeve in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joris De Raeve to strike the kick off in the second half. Reinard Van Ghele made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Brend Vanden Driessche sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pieter-Maarten Van Beets hit a great ball. Sean Van Dijck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Vloebergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinard Van Ghele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris De Raeve, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Vloebergh came free, but Sean Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Limburg United were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Royal Antwerp F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Orellana took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Anios Karaoulanis got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-4. 70 minutes into the match. Amador Azailla's late challenge caught a Royal Antwerp F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Azailla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Azailla to maneuver through the defense. Billy Vloebergh struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Sean Van Dijck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Antwerp F.C.. With a little luck, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Reinard Van Ghele got control of the ball when Joris De Raeve tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sean Van Dijck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Vloebergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Royal Antwerp F.C.'s corner Billy Vloebergh fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sean Van Dijck quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Atak Zor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sean Van Dijck was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 96th minute Atak Zor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Van Dijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limburg United played a much better game than Royal Antwerp F.C. and deserved their victory. The Royal Antwerp F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
