Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Anversa Club's Reiner Fallas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jo Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Vornicu in the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Van Gysel came free, but Waut Van Der Meeren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Anversa Club booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Van Gysel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jo Maerschalcx was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joe Van Landschoot. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Anversa Club's Nicu Vornicu in the 13th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jo Maerschalcx was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SK Dreigoten through an amazing save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reiner Fallas got free with Jo Maerschalcx in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Sam Roelants got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a little luck, SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx got control of the ball when Reiner Fallas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joe Van Landschoot took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jo Maerschalcx. Jo Maerschalcx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joe Van Landschoot was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 25th minute Sam Roelants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Van Der Meeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Vornicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jo Maerschalcx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Cruz in the 33rd minute of play. Waut Van Der Meeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Roelants in the 34th minute of play. Jo Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Winarto Songgonau, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Kim Van Gysel kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Orvar Malmberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Maerschalcx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Dreigoten's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reiner Fallas was slow to take the kick. During this time Anversa Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joe Van Landschoot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jo Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winarto Songgonau in the 53rd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Winarto Songgonau came free, but Jo Maerschalcx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lex Haesevoets hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Nicu Vornicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Maerschalcx having to interfere. Winarto Songgonau took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jo Maerschalcx. Jo Maerschalcx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Georges Van Der Talen hit a great ball. Jo Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Anversa Club's Nestor Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jo Maerschalcx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Anversa Club were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after SK Dreigoten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reiner Fallas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Reiner Fallas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jo Maerschalcx quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Octavian De Strijcker got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reiner Fallas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Winarto Songgonau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anversa Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winarto Songgonau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winarto Songgonau in the 82nd minute of play. Jo Maerschalcx came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Anversa Club's Reiner Fallas. But to his dismay, Reiner Fallas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Anversa Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
